The Metrowest Daily News reports two burglaries in Southborough this week. According to their report, the break-in Tuesday morning on Burnett Road makes the sixth home robbery since May 8th:
Sgt. Timothy Slatkavitz said forced entry was made to the front door of the home sometime before noon. Jewelry was stolen from a bedroom, he said.

Police have also taken reports of several break-ins at businesses this month. That continued Monday, when police investigated a break-in at Vision Care Specialists on Rte. 9.
Earlier this month, police reported an increase in break-ins. At that time, the department stepped up neighborhood patrols and asked residents to be vigilant in reporting suspicious behavior.
This May there were forced entry burglaries reported on Overlook Drive, Gilmore Road, Richards Road, Parkerville Road, and Oak Hill Drive.
Last August, the Southborough Police Department shared tips on preventing home break-ins after a string of burglaries.
