The Assabet Valley Regional Technical High Softball team became MA Division III champions on Saturday.
Assabet’s Aztecs faced off against St. Mary’s of Lynn on June 15th. The team honored the motto on their practice t-shirts, “Heart, Hustle, and Hard work”. They walked away with a 5-2 win and the state championship.
They were the first vocational/technical high school ever to win that honor. It was also the first Division III state championship that Assabet has won in any sport.
