As previously reported, downed wires led to a fire and power outage on Wednesday morning. This was one of several downed tree and wire incidents this week.
Other highlights:
- Residents have taken police up on request for reporting suspicious behavior, including solicitors.
- Two Framingham drivers were arrested in Southborough for separate incidents.
- And at nearly midnight on Wednesday, a juvenile was discovered walking along Cordaville Road.

Monday, June 17
- 0035 hrs- An officer responded to the parking lot of St. Matthews’s church, to investigate a report of juveniles possibly smoking in the area. The responding officer reported back negative findings.
- 0458 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.
- 0807 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
- 0914 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
- 1040 hrs- Officers responded with the Fire Department to investigate a report of an oil spill between Main Street and Cordaville Road. SFD investigated and cleared the units from the scene shortly after arrival.
- 1201 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.
- 1423 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Burnett Road residence.
- 1537 hrs- A medical was reported at a Boston Road residence.
- 1622 hrs- A medical was reported at a Southville Road residence.
- 1630 hrs- Officers assisted in resolving a landlord/tenant dispute on Oak Hill Road.
- 1735 hrs- An officer responded to White Bagley Road to investigate a report of a tree down across the roadway. The officer was able to remove the tree from the road and clear from the scene.
- 1918 hrs- Officers investigated a report of possible solicitors in the area of Blackthorn Drive. The responding officer reported back negative findings.
- 1928 hrs- An officer investigated a report of solicitors in the area of Red Gate Lane. The solicitors were located and advised of the town by-law (must register at the police station).
- 2036 hrs- An officer took a report of harassing phone calls from an Atwood Road resident.

- 0135 hrs- ARRESTED: A Framingham woman was arrested on an active arrest warrant out of Framingham District Court (for failure to pay fines). She was also charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License by this department.
- 0257 hrs- A medical was reported at a Turnpike Road business.
- 0938 hrs- Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from a Turnpike Road business.
- 0950 hrs- Officers investigated a report of a box truck striking the bridge on River Street.
- 1148 hrs- Officers investigated a four car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. Injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
- 1437 hrs- An officer investigated a report of solicitors in the area of Marlboro Road.
- 1753 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Schipper Farm Lane residence.
- 1806 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Framingham Road.
- 1857 hrs- An officer took a report of a larceny from a Turnpike Road business.
- 1933 hrs- Officers responded to School Street/ Marlboro Road area for a report of a large tree that had fallen across the roadway. The tree brought down power lines and a transformer on Marlboro Road. The road was closed while the utility companies worked to repair the lines and poles.
- 2018 hrs- Officers were advised of an erratic operator on Turnpike Road by Central Street.
Wednesday, June 19, 2013:
- 0515 hrs- Officers responded to the intersection of Boston Road and Central Street, to investigate a report of a possible fire in the power lines. Responding officer reported a large tree leaning against power lines, causing flames to erupt on the tree. National Grid was notified. The power line fell to the ground, causing a ground fire and power surge/outage to the surrounding area. Traffic lights along Boston Road and Turnpike (at Central Street) all went out. Crews responded and were eventually able to replace the wire and restore power to the area.

- 0632 hrs- A medical was reported at a Boston Road residence.
- 0732 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.
- 0740 hrs- Officers conducted a requested well-being check on a William Onthank Lane resident.
- 0802 hrs- Officers conducted a requested well-being check on a Carriage Hill Circle resident.
- 0905 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Presidential Drive residence.
- 1033 hrs- Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from a Marlboro Road residence.
- 1049 hrs- Officers conducted a requested well-being check at a Newton Street business.
- 1209 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Southville Road residence.
- 1425 hrs- An officer investigated a noise complaint on Boston Road.
- 1558 hrs- Officers responded to Meadow Lane to investigate a report of a suspicious male in the area. The male party left the area prior to the officers arriving on scene.
- 1632 hrs- Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
- 1726 hrs- An officer responded to a Meeting House Lane residence to investigate a report of an alarm sounding in the area.
- 1833 hrs- An officer responded to Marlboro Road for a report of a wire down in the roadway. The wire was a telephone wire, and was off to the side of the road.
- 2127 hrs- A medical was reported at a Boston Road residence.
- 2213 hrs- An officer on patrol checked on a suspicious motor vehicle parked in front of a Turnpike Road business. Both the driver and the vehicle checked out ok.
- 2304 hrs- Officers responded to the parking lot of Finn School for a report of two people arguing in the parking lot area. Responding officers located one female party, who stated that everything was fine and that there were no problems.
- 2325 hrs- ARRESTED: A Framingham man was charged with OUI Alcohol; Following Too Close; and Marked Lanes Violations.
- 2340 hrs- Officers responded to Cordaville Road to investigate a report of a juvenile walking down the road. The juvenile had reportedly left their residence without the parent’s knowledge. The juvenile was brought to the station, and the parent was notified. The parent and child were reunited at the station, and DCF was contacted and notified of the incident.
