Dorothy E. (Manning) Stossel, 89, of Southborough passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Beaumont Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center in Westborough after a period of declining health.
She was the wife of the late Stepphen Stossel who died in 1993.
Dottie was a graduate of Westborough High School and worked for the former Duplicon as a machine operator for over 20 years. She was a member of St. Matthew Church of Southborough and was a member of the Southborough Catholic Women’s Club.
Dottie will be remembered as a very strong and independent woman, who didn’t hesitate to fight for her rights.
She is survived by her son Francis Stossel and his wife Helena of Holliston; a granddaughter, Johana Presence and her husband Stage. She is predeceased by her sister Helen Parker. A Mass of resurrection will be held on Friday, August 23, at 11 AM at St. Matthew Church, Highland Street, Southborough. Burial will follow in the Southborough Rural Cemetery.
