Some of you might consider Labor Day or September 20th the end of summer.
For those of us with kids in Southborough’s public schools, the reality is that Wednesday marks summer’s end.
Around town there isn’t much going on this week. What is happening mostly relates to to the start of school. Here are highlights. (For more details and the full list, check the Event Calendar.)
Monday, August 26, 2013:
- Open House at Woodward: 3rd grade families are welcome from 3:30 – 4:30 pm. 2nd grade families are welcome from 5:00 – 6:00 pm.
Tuesday, August 27, 2013:
- Free trial class – Tuesday Fitness (10:45 – 11:30 am) @ Southborough Senior Center – last class of summer session. (Fall session will begin Tuesday and Thursday afternoons next week.)
Wednesday, August 28, 2013:
- Southborough Public Schools back in session grades 1-12
- Finn Kindergarten Orientation
- End of Summer Bingo (10:30-11:30 am) @ Southborough Senior Center
Thursday, August 29, 2013:
- First day of Kindergarten at Finn
- Neary Welcome Back Ice Cream Social (5:00 – 7:00 pm) @ Neary playground
