John M. Schipper, 82, of Southborough died on Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Wingate in Sudbury, after a battle with Parkinson Disease.
He was the husband of Liolia (Downey) Schipper for over 51 years.
John was a graduate of Marlborough Trade School and worked on Mr. Jackson’s farm in Marlborough before buying his own dairy farm, Stone Dale Farm on Fisher Road, in 1953.
He sold his milk to Garelick Brothers in Franklin and worked his farm for over 47 years. In 1994 he sold half his farm and the other half in 2000.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his sister in law Sonia Barboza; her children, Christopher Forst; Jeremy Forst and his wife Elizabeth all of Plymouth; Ian Forst of Carver.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, 10 to 11 AM at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main Street, Southborough, followed by a graveside service at 11:30 AM in North Cemetery, Highland St. Berlin, with Father Phillip LaBelle officiating.
