Upcoming free trial fitness and yoga classes next week

Fall sessions are beginning for two fitness classes in town. One is for all adults, while one is for seniors.

Both of these are offering the first class for free next week. So take advantage of the offers!

Yoga for adults, offering a free preview session on September 5th:

A Free Fall Yoga Class with Malu Doherty Yoga, bringing practice to people.

Thursday, Sept. 5 from 5:30 – 6:30 pm, The Southborough Senior Center

Senior Center’s Tuesday and Thursday Fitness Class:

WANT TO IMPROVE YOUR FLEXIBILITY, BALANCE, AND STAMINA?

We are looking for new members to join our Fitness Class which will meet each Tuesday and Thursday from 3:15 pm to 4:00 pm at the Southborough Senior Center.

Aerobics and weight training are combined to make us healthier.

When you love what you are doing and know that it is good for your health, you don’t want to give it up. That’s why the group of us who attend this class regularly are looking for more people who are interested in a very good program.

Your exercise may be boring, but this one is not! At each session, our instructor, Sharon McDevitt, varies our routines and the music and we always have modifications, if we need them.

Unfortunately the Senior Center does not have enough money or grants to fund the salary of the instructor without getting more participants.

Anyone 55 or older may join the group which starts up again on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 and ends on October 24th. An eight week session will cost $48.00, which is very reasonable for its health benefits. You can take the first class free or just observe it, so stop in at the Senior Center to register or call them at 508-229-4453. Come join us!!!
