Thanks to the Southborough Recreation Department for putting on a wonderful event this year.
I hope your family enjoyed it as much as mine did. It was a beautiful day for walking the field and enjoying the Fire Department’s Open House. And we loved the new entertainment this year.
The Algonquin Robotics team’s demonstration and test drive area was a big hit with all the kids who made it over there.
My kids also thought the dance team was cool. And other children got a kick out of learning moves from them.
I tried to make it around to cover everything. But I wasn’t able to witness the pie eating contest. Anyone have a photo of that to share?
Here are my best pics from the rest of the day, along with contributions from readers.
I found a Webelos Cub Scout slide by the sports card/toy booth. Let me know if it belongs to you. Thanks!
I should have posted a “found” item as well. A gray shirt with a white skateboarding Bigfoot. Found on side of road on Winchester St. (Perhaps someone who parked for parade dropped it.)
I also lost $20 at Heritage Day.
Hmm. Anyone interested in buying a skateboarding Bigfoot shirt for $20?
Liz Patterson from Around the Clock Home Healthcare shared, “Thank everyone for stopping by our booth on Heritage Day to help with our fundraiser for the Southborough Senior Center. And also Congratulate Bob for winning the Fall Goodie Basket, and Kiera for winning the Family Movie Basket!”
