In the latest open thread, readers posted that break-ins occured earlier this month. Since the newly posted Police Log didn’t covered those dates, I followed up with the department.
According to Lt. Sean James, there were four break-ins reported this month.
On October 10, 2013:
- A forced entry occured at Pleasant Street sometime during the day, with theft of electronic equipment.
- In the evening, a Richards Road residence was robbed of jewelry. There was no sign of forced entry.
On October, 18, 2013:
- An Oregon Road home was forcibly entered and jewelry stolen.
- A Southwick Drive residence was robbed of jewelry. Access was through an open garage.
These burglaries are currently under investigation with potential suspects. Police are working to retrieve property and/or obtain physical evidence.
In the new log, there were multiple incidents of drivers without a license. One of the offenders led officers in a foot pursuit before her arrest.

Friday, October 25, 2013:
- 0226 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Boston Road residence.
- 1337 hrs- Officers investigated a parking complaint at a Turnpike Road business.
- 1416 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
- 1417 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Parmenter Road.
- 1545 hrs- A motorist from Marlborough was issued a civil citation for possession of marijuana.
- 1604 hrs- A medical was reported at an Andrews Way residence.
- 1651 hrs- A medical was reported at a Sunrise Drive residence.
- 1835 hrs- An officer assisted a disabled motorist on Northboro Road.
- 2044 hrs- An officer responded with the fire department to investigate a report of a possible natural gas leak at a residence on Adams Circle.
- 2236 hrs- A motorist from Natick, MA was issued a Criminal Application for Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
- 2326 hrs- An officer provided a civilian transport from Turnpike Road to the MBTA station.
Saturday, October 26, 2013:
- 0211 hrs- ARRESTED: A Framingham man was charged with OUI Alcohol, Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, and Marked Lanes violation.
- 0344 hrs- An officer assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
- 0921 hrs- A wallet was found and turned into the police station.
- 1211 hrs- ARRESTED: An East Boston man was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License.
- 1354 hrs- Officers conducted a requested well-being check on a Turnpike Road resident.
- 1505 hrs- The Animal Control Officer was notified of two dogs running loose on Flagg Road.
- 1658 hrs- A medical was reported at a Middle Road residence.
- 1721 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Sarsenstone Way residence.
- 1832 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at an Autumn Hill Lane residence.
- 1903 hrs- Officers investigated a car vs. deer accident on Framingham Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
- 2131 hrs- Officers investigated a report of flashlights and noises coming from a barn on Main Street. Several youths were found in the barn, and were subsequently brought to the police station. Parents were contacted and advised to pick up their kids at the police station.
- 2229 hrs- Officers investigated a report of a loud house party on Breakneck Hill Road. The responding officers reported back negative findings in the area.
Sunday, October 27, 2013:
- 0020 hrs- A resident of Shrewsbury, MA was taken into Protective Custody after officers found the male party staggering down Turnpike Road.
- 0034 hrs- Officers and members of the SFD responded to a chimney fire at a Cordaville Road residence.
- 0424 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
- 0928 hrs- Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from a Main Street residence.
- 1010 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at Neary Elementary School.
- 1105 hrs- Officers and members of the SFD responded to a fire alarm at a Woodland Road residence.
- 1300 hrs- Officer investigated a burglar alarm at a Northboro Road business.
- 1323 hrs- Officers responded to a Fiddleneck Lane residence to assist with a domestic issue.
- 1514 hrs- An officer provided an escort for the Town’s Halloween parade (at 1600 hrs).
- 1632 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.
- 1704 hrs- A medical was reported at the Fire Station.
Monday, October 28, 2013:
- 0048 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
- 0103 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at an Oregon Road residence.
- 0114 hrs- Officers responded with members of the SFD to investigate a report of smoke in a Ledge Hill Road residence.
- 0252 hrs- ARRESTED: A Braintree woman was pulled over on Turnpike Road, she proceeded to lead officers on a foot pursuit from where her vehicle was stopped to a nearby wooded area. She was subsequently captured and placed under arrest. The woman was found to have three active warrants out for her arrest. She was additionally charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Revoked License (Subsequent Offense); Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Revoked Registration (Subsequent Offense); Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle; Defective Equipment; Failure to Dim High Beams; and Failure to Stop for Police.
- 0906 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Gilmore Road residence.
- 0912 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Presidential Drive residence.
- 1003 hrs- Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from a Middle Road residence.
- 1117 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Sears Road residence.
- 1158 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Presidential Drive residence.
- 1412 hrs- An officer took a report of harassing phone calls from a Marlboro Road resident.
- 1543 hrs- Officers responded to Marlboro Road to investigate a report of two males trying to pull a female party into a car. Responding officers located all parties involved, and after an investigation they determined that the female had walked away from a DCF facility in Marlborough. The female party was returned to the residence a short time later.
- 1735 hrs- A medical was reported at a John Matthews Road residence.
- 2014 hrs- Officers responded to a Domestic at a Sarsenstone Way residence. The domestic was determined to be verbal in nature, and no charges were filed in the incident.
- 2027 hrs- Marlborough Police advised that an erratic operator was heading into Southborough via Marlboro Road. Both units were tied up on the previous domestic incident and were unable to respond.
- 2055 hrs- A motorist from Marlborough reportedly struck a deer on Main Street. No injuries were reported.
- 2100 hrs- Officers responded to Deerfoot Road for a barking dog complaint.
