No easy Thanksgiving week for the SFD. Our firefighters have had their hands full.
A good part of Wednesday morning was spent dealing with a transformer that blew in the wee hours. (Residents in vicinity reported a ground shaking boom followed by a lit up sky.)
Saturday, they assisted Framingham with a blazing fire (click here for more info).
And Sunday’s treacherous, icy roads led to several car accidents with injuries. (A quick look at the log explains why the town sent out a CodeRed alert that morning. If you didn’t that call, read more about updating your contact info here.)
