Registration began this week for the next session of RAP (Recreation After-school Programs). Most classes will begin the first week of January.
There is a great variety of offerings for this time around. There are classes to get your kids’ hearts pumping or creative juices flowing. Educational classes sharpen their skills or expand their minds.
I was tickled to read about their new offering “Veggiecation”. Ever since learning that the Chess teacher uses candy as an incentive, my son has been asking to take the class. I can just imagine his fit if I signed him up for a class about cooking and eating veggies! But I do know other children who would love it.
Most of these classes take place at the school immediately after dismissal. Parents simply pick children up from school at the end of the class. There are some exceptions. So make sure to read details before you register.
