Edward W. Maloney, Jr, 64, of Southborough, died Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at home surrounded by his loving family.
He leaves his wife Carol A. (Fiorentino) Maloney and his three children Katherine F. Maloney of Amherst, NY, Margaret A. Maloney of Worcester, MA and Michael C. Maloney of Boulder, CO. Also leaves his granddaughter Teresa F. Fagiani of Amherst, NY and a brother William J. Maloney of Fairfield, CT.
He was born in Lynn, MA, son of Edward W. and Ruth I. (Egan) Maloney and his lived in Southborough for most of his life.
For the past thirty years he was employed by the Federal Government in the Department of Labor.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 14, 2013, at 11 a.m. in St. Anne’s Church, 20 Boston Road, Southborough. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery, Southborough.
Calling hours are prior to Mass on Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. in the John P. Rowe Funeral Home, Inc, 57 Main St., Marlborough.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Our Danny Cancer Fund, P.O. Box 2795, Worcester, MA 01613.
