Burglaries weren’t reported as new home break-ins. A Southborough business’ cash drawer was reported burgled and a resident reported an ipad stolen from home. Arrests made include one for domestic assault and witness intimidation.
On the lighter side, a man reported as driving with a gun was discovered to be using a lighter shaped like one.

Thursday, January 23, 2014:
- 0101 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
- 0931 hrs- Officers assisted a Ted Lane resident with a civil matter.
- 1035 hrs- An officer checked on two suspicious motor vehicles parked at a St. Martin Drive business.
- 1356 hrs- An officer responded to Breakneck Hill Road to investigate a report of a wire down in the area. The wire was located and Verizon was advised of the problem.
- 1450 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Fiddleneck Lane residence.
- 1624 hrs- An officer assisted a resident at the police station with a civil matter.
- 1712 hrs- A motorist from Westborough, MA was issued a Criminal Application for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Revoked Registration and Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.
- 1737 hrs- Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. Injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
- 2028 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Hickory Road residence.
- 2109 hrs- A motorist from Framingham, MA was issued a Criminal Application for Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Defective Equipment.
- 2300 hrs- A motorist from Framingham, MA was issued a Criminal Application for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License and Speeding.
Friday, January 24, 2014:
- 0133 hrs- Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident on River Street. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
- 0659 hrs- An officer responded to a Turnpike Road business to investigate a report of a burglary at the business. An undisclosed amount of money was taken from the cash drawer at the business. A report was filed on the incident, and the Detective unit is currently investigating the theft.
- 0811 hrs- Officers assisted a Ted Lane resident with a civil matter.
- 0857 hrs- A medical was reported at a Turnpike Road residence.
- 1003 hrs- An officer responded with the Fire Department to investigate smoke within a Main Street business.
- 1026 hrs- A medical was reported at a General Henry Knox Road residence.
- 1336 hrs- Southborough officers assisted Westborough Police with a search for a suspected shoplifter.
- 1529 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
- 1545 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Glenwood Road residence.
- 1604 hrs- A Bigelow Road resident reported solicitors in the area. The responding officer reported back negative findings.
- 1640 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motor vehicle on Johnson Road.
- 2037 hrs- An officer checked on a suspicious motor vehicle parked at a Boston Road business. The operator and the vehicle checked out ok.
- 2217 hrs- ARRESTED: A Southborough man was charged with OUI Alcohol and Speeding.
Saturday, January 25, 2014:
- 0323 hrs- Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident on Oregon Road. Injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
- 1008 hrs- An officer responded to a Partridge Hill Road residence to take a report of harassing/strange phone calls.
- 1129 hrs- Solicitors registered at the police station.
- 1309 hrs- Officers responded to a Pine Hill Drive business to assist the business with a trespasser. The trespasser was escorted from the property.
- 2047 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Newton Street business.
- 2216 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Main Street business.
- 2329 hrs- An officer on patrol checked on a suspicious motor vehicle parked at a Turnpike Road business. The vehicle and the operator both checked out ok.
Sunday, January 26, 2014:
- 0142 hrs- ARRESTED: A Milford man was arrested on an active Arrest Warrant out of Westborough District Court. He was also charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License and Marked Lanes Violations.
- 0336 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Southville Road business.
- 0548 hrs- A medical was reported at a William Onthank Lane residence.
- 0734 hrs- An officer and the Fire Department assisted a Boston Road resident with a lock out.
- 0905 hrs- An officer responded to a Walnut Drive residence to assist the resident with a civil matter.
- 1112 hrs- An officer assisted the Hopkinton Police Department in a search for a vehicle in the MBTA lot.
- 1154 hrs- A motorist from Marlborough, MA was issued a Criminal Application for Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
- 1152 hrs- A medical was reported at a St. Mark’s School.
- 1321 hrs- A resident of Old Harry Road reported being the victim of an identity theft. The responding officer took a report and assisted the resident.
- 1502 hrs- Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from a Sears Road residence.
- 1640 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Parkerville Road residence.
- 1649 hrs- A medical was reported at a Blueberry Lane residence.
- 1845 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Sears Road residence.
- 2345 hrs- A Southville Road resident reported a fraudulent credit card purchase on his credit card. The responding officer took a report of the incident, and the matter had been assigned to the Detective Unit for a follow-up investigation.
Monday, January 27, 2014:
- 0048 hrs- An officer on patrol provided a civilian transport to a Marlborough resident.
- 0610 hrs- A medical was reported at a Main Street residence.
- 0655 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
- 0903 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Cordaville Road.
- 1105 hrs- Officers responded to the 495 area to investigate a report of a man driving with a gun in his hand. The vehicle was later stopped by police, and the “gun” was determined to be a gun-shaped lighter.
- 1149 hrs- A medical was reported at a Meadow Lane residence.
- 1409 hrs- Officers attempted to serve court paperwork to a Nathan Stone Road resident.
- 1541 hrs- An Edgewood Road resident reported a theft of an iPad from his residence. An investigation into the theft is on-going at this time.
- 1635 hrs- Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from Fay School on Main Street.
Tuesday, January 28, 2014:
- 0051 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Main Street business.
- 0247 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.
- 0840 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
- 1045 hrs- Officers investigated a report of an Identity Theft from a Burnett Road resident.
- 1225 hrs- An officer took a report of a Harassing Phone Calls from a Willow Street business.
- 1304 hrs- An officer investigated a report of a suspicious person walking into the woods on Framingham Road. The male party was located and was determined to be a photographer. He was advised of the report and soon left the area.
- 1326 hrs- An officer assisted the Morris Funeral Home with a funeral escort.
- 1910 hrs- An officer checked on a suspicious motor vehicle parked at a Main Street business.
- 1936 hrs- An officer took a parking complaint from a Main Street resident.
- 2108 hrs- ARRESTED: An East Lynn woman was charged with Domestic Assault & Battery, Intimidation of a Witness, and Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License.
