Southborough Boy Scouts shared news on an annual tradition celebrated last Sunday.
For many, Sunday was all about the Super Bowl. For town Boy Scout and Cub Scout troops it was about honoring that a Scout is Reverent.
Cub Scouts from Packs 1, 26 and 921 along with Boy Scouts from Troops 1 and 92 and their families congregated at St. Matthews Church.
This wasn’t for its usual Catholic service. The parish hosted an Ecumenical Service for the scouts. This was the 5th year for the event celebrating the diversity of religions.
Readings were done from several major religions, followed by a social hour.
