Many of you already know about the fatal accident on Route 9 around 7:00 pm last night. Traffic was re-routed from Route 9 Westbound at White Bagely Road until past 10:00 pm. As a result, traffic was jammed down Latisquama and Main Street for hours.
The name of the victim hasn’t been publicly released yet. Southborough Police will have more information available later today.

A man died Wednesday night after losing control of his motorcycle on Rte. 9, police confirmed early Thursday.
According to Chief Kenneth Paulhus, a man traveling west on Rte. 9 near the Rte. 85 overpass lost control of a 2008 Suzuki motorcycle at about 7 p.m.
Paulhus said the man was thrown from the motorcycle after it struck a guardrail.
Initial radio reports indicate the man had a slight pulse when police arrived but had sustained “heavy trauma.”
Paulhus said the man was pronounced dead at the scene. . .
Paulhus said no other vehicles were involved in the accident. He said the state police accident reconstruction team is still working to determine why the man lost control of the motorcycle. (read more)
