Southborough Cultural Arts Council is looking to fund more programs in the arts, humanities, and interpretive sciences.
SCAC’s priority is funding programs, organizations, and individuals from Southborough and surrounding communities. They are especially urging Southborough artists to apply.
Last year, 11 grants were awarded by SCAC, totaling over $5,300. They supported the following programs and performances:
- ARHS Sachem Magazine’s Publishing Software
- Assabet Valley Mastersingers’ The Petite Messe Solennelle by Rossini Concert.
- Audio Journal, Inc.’s Cultural Enlightenment Initiative
- Fruitlands Museum’s Centennial Anniversary Program
- John Root’s Songbirds of the Northeast
- Metrowest Symphony Orchestra’s Metrowest Symphony Orchestra Concert
- Northboro Area Community Chorus’ Spring and Christmas Concerts
- Pilgrim Church’s Annual Messiah Concert
- Southborough Library’s Genealogy Club Speakers
- Southborough Library’s Storytelling Performance for Summer Reading
- Southborough Recreation’s Summer Concert Series

Applications must be postmarked by October 15, 2014. Funding sought must be for programs or performances in calendar year 2015.
