Wednesday, September 24, 2014:

  • Music Through the Decades (12:45 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: Musician David Polansky brings alive the music of bygone eras. Luncheon program with suggested donation of $6 for Friends of Council of the Aging and $10 for non-members. For more details, see dedicated post.

Thursday, September 25, 2014:

  • Rosh Hashanah: No public school
  • Flu Clinic for Seniors (10:00 am – 1:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: This year there will be a high dose vaccine. For more information about the high dose flu vaccine contact Leslie Chamberlin, R.N.
  • Wi-Fi in Schools – Why, Why Not! (7:00 – 8:30 pm) @ Southborough Library: A discussion of health risks & solutions for the safer use of technology, presented by Michael D’Aleo. For more details, see dedicated post.

Friday, September 26, 2014: 

  • 20140922_nspac_welcome_back_smlNSPAC Welcome Back Coffee/Dessert (6:30 – 8:00 pm) @ Algonquin High School Cafeteria: Northborough/Southborough Special Education Parent Advisory Council. Help NSPAC plan for the year and learn how they provide information and support for families.

Saturday, September 27, 2014:

  • Free Magic Show (10:00 am – 11:00 am) @ Fay’s Primary School, 25 Middle Road: Award winning magician Peter O’ Malley’s show provides mystifying magical illusions and lots of audience participation. This is a Saturdays at Fay program for children ages 2-8 along with their parents. Space is limited,so please register online.

Sunday, September 28, 2014:

  • Putting for Purple (9:00 am – 3:00 pm) @ Green Thumb, Westborough: A”Mini Golf Fun-raiser” for FACES* in honor of Woodward student, Emily Harmon. $10 per person. For more details, see dedicated post.
  • Red Sox on the big screen (1:35 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: Watch the Red Sox vs the NY Yankees on the Senior Center’s newly improved projected wide screen. Enjoy the game with pub food and friends. First pitch is at 1:35 pm, but the room will open at 1:00 pm. Pre-register by stopping by the desk or calling 508-229-4453.
