James Francis Finneran III, an honorably discharged Marine Corp. veteran of the Desert Shield/Gulf War passed away unexpectedly on September 20, 2014.
He was also a retired Southborough Police Officer with 22 years of service and a graduate of the Framingham North High School class of 1981.
He leaves behind his daughter, Shannon Ashley Finneran and his former wife, Kristen A. Finneran, both of Northborough. He was the son of James F. Finneran Jr. and the late Lorraine Finneran of Framingham. He was the brother of the late Lisa Finneran and Liz Calcagni of Southbridge, MA. He was the nephew of Thomas Finneran and Barbara Salley, both of Framingham. He was also a proud cousin of Laura Salley.
His smile, incredible sense of humor, and magnetic personality will be missed and forever remembered in the hearts of all those who loved him.
An honorable graveside military service and burial will take place on Friday, September 26, 2014 at 11:15 am at The Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA.
