Eugenie M. F. Boutilier, 97, of Westborough, formerly of Southborough passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at the Kindred Transitional Care in Westborough.
Born in Southborough, she was the daughter of the late George and Edith (Early) Boutilier and was educated in Southborough schools.
Eugenie was employed as a secretary for General Electric prior to her retirement and was the oldest member of the First Community Church of Southborough.
Her funeral service will be held on Sunday, Nov. 2, at 2:00 P.M. in the First Community Church of Southborough, 137 Southville Rd., Southborough. Burial in Rural Cemetery, Southborough will be private.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough.
What this doesn’t say is that her father at one point was the oldest resident of town..over 100, I’m thinking. He received a cane sent, I think, by the (no longer) Boston Post, for that accomplishment. I think he also rode in various town parades, at least for a while. Eugenie was his caretaker for many of those later years. They lived on Southville Road in one of the older houses. She was a very attentive daughter and a lovely woman.
Mr. Boutilier passed away at home at the age of 108
