Algonquin’s Tomahawks will face off against Westborough on Thanksgiving.
The game will be about bragging rights, pride and ending the season on a win.
The T-Hawks will also be hoping to erase the memory of last year’s blowout. Westborough dominated them, 31-7.
On their side is a much improved performance this year. Last fall, both teams headed into the game with only 2 wins.
This fall marked ARHS’ first winning season in 17 years. The team made it to the playoffs, but got knocked out in the quarter finals.
Westborough will have the home team advantage. With a 3-7 record, they’ll need it.
I’m sure the T-Hawks will be looking for their fans in Westborough’s stands on Thursday. You can get advance tickets for $5 in the school’s Athletics office.
Tickets will be hawked for $10 ea on game day. Kickoff is at 10:15 am.
Tickets are $5 if bought in advance at the Athletic Office at Algonquin.
