The Thanksgiving eve snow storm put a little crimp in the plans for the Gobble Wobble. The Fun Run was cancelled and runners/walkers had to wait until late Wednesday night to learn if the race was on.
Depite that, close to 1,000 runners turned up on a frigid Thanksgiving morning to race in Southborough’s 8th annual Gobble Wobble.
It was a mix of serious runners and those trotting for fun. There was also a range of ages with 189 runners under 15 years old and 25 over 60. You can find the race results here.
As has become a tradition, several participants sported festive turkey day attire. Southborough photographer Chris Wraight captured them among far too many great pics for me to post them all. Here are some of my favorites.
