Muriel Bullard Hart, 91 , of Southborough, died peacefully at her home on Saturday, December 13, 2014 after a battle with cancer.
She was the wife of the late Donald L. Hart who passed away in 2008.
Muriel was a graduate of Hopkinton High School and worked for many years as a concierge for the Marriott Hotel in Framingham. She was a volunteer for the Boy Scouts of America for over 70 years and received many awards; among them was an honorary doctorate degree in scouting. Muriel was dedicated to her family and friends. She gave a quality of experience to countless children throughout her many years of scouting. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Nancy Swaine of Temple, NH; George Hart of Franklin; David Hart of Boston; Donald Hart and his wife Natasha of Southborough; 2 grandchildren, Jason Matthew Hart; Amanda Casey; a great grandson, Matthew L. Hart; her siblings, Ruth Ward of Newport Richey, FL and a brother, Lewis Bullard.
She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Lisa Iandoli. 9
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, Jan. 3 at 11 AM at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main Street, Southborough.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent in her memory to Boy Scouts of America, 1325 W. Walnut Lane, Irving, TX 75015
