Senior Center snowshoeing events coming up (but not this Wednesday)

The Southborough Senior Center had hoped to hold a snowshoeing hike at Breakneck Hill Farm this week. But the weather didn’t cooperate.

Still, organizers are hoping to reschedule it. And they have fingers crossed for enough snow this month to hold the event scheduled at Chestnut Hill Farm on Friday, January 30, at 10:00 am:

Get out and enjoy some winter fun at two beautiful scenic locations. Snowshoeing is a great way to enjoy winter, get some fresh air, and stay active. We’ll take a mid-trip break for delicious baked goodies and hot chocolate or cider.

Snowshoeing equipment is provided, a professional and experienced guide to get you going.

Trips run 2—3 hours depending on conditions. No experience necessary!

The senior center is collecting names and contact information for anyone interested in either event. You can leave your name at the desk, or call 508-229-4453.
