A hit and run with a telephone pole on Woodland Road caused an area blackout on Saturday morning.
Police are asking for help with the investigation. According to a witness, the incident involved a grey SUV.

Thursday, January 15, 2015:
- 0024 hrs- Officers issued a No Trespass Notice to a female party at the Red Roof Inn on Turnpike Road.
- 0742 hrs- An officer investigated a report of malfunctioning traffic lights on Turnpike Road by Crystal Pond Road. Mass Highway was notified and they responded to the scene.
- 0802 hrs- A medical was reported at a Flagg Road residence.
- 1632 hrs- An officer investigated a one car, motor vehicle vs. deer accident on Pleasant Street. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
Friday, January 16, 2015:
- 1522 hrs- A medical was reported at the MBTA station on River Street.
- 2318 hrs- ARRESTED: A Worcester man was charged with OUI Alcohol.
Saturday, January 17, 2015:
- 0703 hrs- Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident on Woodland Road. A resident reported that a grey colored SUV struck a telephone pole, then left the scene of the accident. The accident caused a power outage to the surrounding area. Responding officers checked the area and notified surrounding towns. National Grid was notified, and responded to the scene. The vehicle was not located, and we are asking anyone with information to please contact the Southborough Police Department at (508) 485-2121.
- 1032 hrs- Officers responded to a two car, motor vehicle accident on East Main Street. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
- 1129 hrs- A medical was reported at a Turnpike Road business.
- 1205 hrs- A medical was reported at a Boston Road residence.
- 1336 hrs- An officer investigated a harassment complaint at the police station.
- 1355 hrs- ARRESTED: A Clinton woman was arrested on an active Arrest Warrant and Drug Possession (Class A).
- 1424 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at an Edgewood Road residence.
- 1729 hrs- An officer took a report of property damage to a residence on Cordaville Road.
- 2111 hrs- A motorist from Worcester was issued a Criminal Application for Operating a Motor Vehicle with Revoked Insurance.
Sunday, January 18, 2015:
- 0829 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Buffalo Run Road residence.
- 0918 hrs- A medical was reported at a Southwood Drive residence.
- 1316 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Main Street. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
- 1703 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Parkerville Road residence.
- 2218 hrs- A medical was reported at a Woodland Road residence.
- 2258 hrs- Officers investigated a 911 hang-up call from a Cordaville Road residence.
