Flags in Southborough and across the state were asked to fly at half staff for United States Senator Edward W. Brooke who died on January 3, 2015. The observance was requested from January 5th until sunset on the date of his interment.
The Senator will be interred at the Arlington National Cemetery today. Governor Charlie Baker has ordered the United States flag and the Commonwealth flag be raised to the top of the flag pole at sunset today, Tuesday, March 10.
