Alida Lee Drewry Ferguson, 79, of Southborough, died Sunday, April 12, 2015 in the Coleman House of Northborough, after a long illness.
She leaves her son, Brent Ferguson and his wife, Doreen of Southborough; a daughter, Hope Stogryn and her husband, Daryl of Ontario, Canada; six grandchildren, Amy, Paul, Nadia, Nathan, Isaac and Mikaela; a great-grandson, Levi; her siblings; Glen, Joy, Grace and Ruby. She was predeceased by her sister Brenda O’Gara.
She was born in Grasmere, New Hampshire , daughter of C. Leighton and Eunice (Colburn) Drewry. She graduated from Weare High School and later from Concord Hospital School of Nursing. She has lived in Southborough since 1956.
Lee enjoyed quilting, baking with her grandchildren, listening to her family perform music, and long drives to Ontario to visit her daughter and family.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 18th at 12:00pm in Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main Street, (Rte.30) Southborough. Calling hours will be held from 10:00am to 12:00pm in the funeral home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
