- Nature Walk at Beals Preserve (9:30 – 10:30 am) @ Beals Preserve: Southborough Open Land Foundation event in cooperation with the Southborough Senior Center. SOLF trustee and nature enthusiast Deborah Costine will lead a nature walk at Beals Preserve. Register through the Senior Center at their desk or by calling (508) 229‐4453.

- New England Aquarium Bus Trip (10:15 am – 3:15 pm): I’d bet this trip to the aquarium required pre-registration. But, you can check with the Senior Center at (508) 229‐4453. For more details on the trip, see dedicated post.
- Candidates Night (6:30 pm) @ Southborough Library: Annual public event hosted by the Library Trustees. All candidates for town offices are invited to make statements and participate in public Q&A. A meet and greet begins at 6:30 pm. Statements begin at 6:45 pm. This year, the contests are between candidates for Town Clerk, the Board of Selectmen and Board of Health.

- Earthworms (3:45 – 4:45 pm) @ Southborough Library, lower level, Eaton Room: Children will learn the incredible roll that earthworms play in our environment and make a worm farm to take home. This program is for children ages 5-8 years old. Registration is required. Call 508-485-5031. Supported by the Southborough Community Fund, a Fund of the Foundation for MetroWest.
- An Evening of eBook Help (5:30 – 8:30 pm) @ Southborough Library: Kindle getting you down? Nook woes? Wondering how you can read library books on your iPad? Staff will be conducting eBook help to the best of their ability. Registration is not required. Bring in your device and they’ll do their best to help you check out books electronically.

- Free Comic Book Day (10:30 am – 4:30 pm) @ Southborough Library, upper level: In partnership with Diamond Comic Distributors, celebrate Free Comic Book Day at the library this year. Every attendee will get a free comic book of their choice until supplies run out.
- Free Comic Book Day (noon – 6:00 pm) @ Hall of Comics, 3 Turnpike Road: In addition to the free comics, the store will celebrate with special guests writer Frank Tieri, artist Elias Chatzoudis, and artist Alex Cormack. (The artists will be doing sketches, talking art, etc.) Plus visits from superheroes, like Spider-Gwen & The Black Widow. Click on flyer to right for some details.
