First Community Church is holding a fundraiser on Saturday, June 6th. From 9:00 am – 2:00 pm they will be selling baked goods, kitchen items, clothing, toys, books, and more.
The sale will be held at the church, rain or shine, 137 Southville Road.
Because it is a small congregation, it’s probably one of the lesser known in town. So, here’s a little from their website, explaining who they are:
We are a small Protestant Christian church. Because we fall into the category of a small church (approximately 75 members), we are more relationship-oriented than program-oriented. This is a church where literally every single person (who is active) knows every other person in the congregation. This provides a strong sense of community. We hold each other in our prayers and provide a broad base of support to shut-ins and people who are going through difficult times.
