Outdoor summer film series – beginning June 10th

Southborough Recreation is launching a movie series this summer. One Wednesday evening per month, a free movie screening will be held on Neary School’s field.

The new offering is thanks in part to an Eagle Scout project last year that provided the town with an outdoor screen.

All you’ll need to bring is a blanket or chair and bug spray. (If you get the munchies, you can buy refreshments from town Girl Scouts.)

The movies will begin at dusk (approximately 7:30 pm). Selections this summer are all kid friendly:

  • Summer Film Series flyerJune 10, 2015 – Big Hero 6: Rated PG; runs 102 minutes (Rain date: June 17)
  • July 8, 2015 – Maleficent: Rated G; runs 97 minutes (Rain date: July 15)
  • August 5, 2015 – Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb: Rated PG; runs 98 minutes (Rain date: August 12)
