Aspiring poets should head to the Southborough Library this summer to learn and try new techniques.

The Library is continuing its work with the Worcester County Poetry Association. They will be holding four more poetry workshops this fall.

The workshops will each be held from 6:30 – 8:30 pm on the following Tuesdays, focusing on a specific poet:

  • July 7th: Maxine Kumin
  • July 21st: Lawrence Ferlinghetti
  • August 4th: Jane Kenyon
  • August 18th: Donald Hall

Participants will “look at the techniques used in select poems by these poets and through discussion generate new work.”
