Open discussion thread: Ask questions, share opinions

It’s time for another open thread. What’s on your mind this week, Southborough?

For those of you new to the blog, the open discussion thread is your place to ask questions, sound off on town issues, or share information with other readers. Here are some suggestions to get you started:

  • Ask questions about programs in town or the town itself
  • Post a note about things that you’re selling or giving away, or things that you want
  • Share notices about upcoming events (Southborough or otherwise)
  • Register your thoughts on town issues or news stories
  • Point out interesting or helpful resources

You can add comments to the thread throughout the week. Check back often to see new comments. (If you read the blog via email or RSS, you might want to check the site from time to time for new comments.)

My husband and I’ve been singing in Heritage Chorale for 8 years now and we love it! If you love to sing you should consider joining:

Heritage Chorale Invitation to Area Singers
Join Heritage Chorale for the open rehearsals of its new season on Tuesdays, September 8th or 15th at 7:30. Meet Director John Finney. Two of our concerts will be in Southborough this year.

The Fall Concert will be at St. Mark’s School in Southborough –
“Rutter -A 70th Birthday Tribute” to British composer and arranger John Rutter, featuring Mass of the Children and other Rutter works, collaborating with “VOICES Boston”, the wonderful children’s chorus that often sings with the Boston Symphony, as well as professional soloists, and an ensemble of brass, woodwinds, string bass, multiple percussionists and harp. This music is gorgeous and we’re a really welcoming group.
Visit the website: heritagechorale.org or call 508-270-3999 for more information

Rehearsals are held at:
First Parish UU Framingham
24 Vernon St, Framingham Center
