The last performance in the Summer Concert Series is scheduled for Thursday of next week, August 20th, featuring Hit the Bus.
The band describes its sound as “the music people want to hear, dance and party to”. . . “an eclectic mix of music ranging from the 50’s to Today.”
(Some younger audience members and parents may recognize one of the band members, David Garden. In his other life, he runs Garden Music Together.)
As with past concerts in the series, it will be held 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Neary field. (Don’t forget your blanket/chairs and bug spray!)
This concert, pizza will be donated by sponsoring food vendor Southborough House of Pizza. Also on offer: hot dogs, watermelon, snacks/desserts and beverages.
Concessions continue to support Send a Kid to Camp. So, bring your appetite.
The rain date is the following weeks. To check on status, call 508-485-0710 and press 8.
The series is supported by the Southborough Cultural Arts Council, Friends of Southborough Youth Commission, and Southborough Recreation and other sponsors.
