Barbara J. (Harlow) Clark, 89, of Southborough and Venice, FL, died peacefully on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Beaumont Skilled Nursing &Rehab Center in Westborough.
She was the beloved wife of George Clark who passed away in 2009. Born in Newton, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Minnie (Scott) Harlow.
Barbara earned an associate’s degree at Green Mountain Junior College in Poultney, VT. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Barbara enjoyed summering on the Cape at their home in Orleans and wintering in Florida at their home in Venice. She was a member of the Friends of the Southborough Library, Southborough Garden Club, and Pilgrim Church of Southborough. Her greatest joy was spending time with her friends and family.
She is survived by her children, Pamela Clark of Venice, FL; Stephanie McCook and her husband John of Frisco, TX; Harlow Clark of Southborough; her sister, Marjorie Faherty of Falmouth; her grandchildren, Kristen Wasylson and Janna McCook, Justin and Tyler Clark, Matthew and Scott Clark; and 10 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by a son Laurence Clark and her brother Richard Harlow.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 9, from 4 to 7 PM at Morris Funeral Home,
40 Main Street, Southborough.
A funeral home service will be held on Saturday, October 10, at 10 AM at Morris Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Southborough Rural Cemetery.
