I’ve already shared information on three town traditions:
- The Firefighter’s parade and costume contest this Sunday
- The Senior Center’s luncheon on Wednesday
- SYFS’ town party for kids the night before the big day
Now here are three more Halloween events to mark on your calendars for next Friday and Saturday:
Trick or Treating at the Library (Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31, 10:30 am – 4:30 pm) @ Southborough Library: The library always encourages town children to visit in their Halloween costumes to trick-or-treat at the library on or before Halloween. This year, they’ve expanded it to a two day event with themed crafts, games, and treats. Drop in anytime during the Trick or Treat hours.
- Halloween Fun House ( Friday, October 30, 5:00 – 7:00 pm) @ St Anne Church, Boston Road: The St. Anne Junior High youth ministry group is putting on the fun house and party. Admission to the event is free with the donation of a non perishable food item which will be given to the Southborough food pantry. All ages are welcome.
Halloween concert for kids – Saturdays at Fay (Saturday, October 31, 10:00 – 11:00 am) @ Fay School’s Primary School at 25 Middle Road: Join Fay School on the morning of Halloween with children’s musician, Stacey Peasley! Wear your costume and join Stacey for singing, dancing, and a Halloween celebration. Saturdays at Fay is a series of free Saturday morning programs designed for children ages 2-8. Space is limited so please pre-register fayschool.org/saturdays for this event.
