The Framingham Patch reports on an incident between a Southborough resident and Framingham Police earlier that morning:
Framingham Police had to use a taser gun on a Southborough man twice Friday morning, just before 7 a.m. after he was wielding a knife, threatening to kill a co-worker, and tried to carjack a vehicle. . .
Framingham Police were called to Western Avenue at 6:50 a.m. for a report of a man with a knife threatening “numerous individuals,” said [Framingham Police Lt. Stephen Cronin}. . .
When officers arrived they encountered [the accused], who ”immediately took a fighting stance with the officers yelling ‘what are you going to do, shoot me?’” said Lt. Cronin.
According to the story, the tasers appeared to have no effect, on the man who continued on to pull a driver out of his car. He was eventually convinced to surrender at gunpoint.
