SAT/ACT test info night for parents – Nov 12

If you have a child who is a junior in high school (or will be soon) you should be aware that the SATs are undergoing an overhaul. The revised tests to be introduced by the College Board in March may have you almost as stressed as the kids planning to take it.

Next week, the Southborough Library is hosting an information night for parents.

The session, run by ANICTA Educational Consulting, will explain changes to the SAT and discuss ways to prepare students for SAT/ACT testing.

SAT/ACT info night flyerThe info night will be held Thursday, November 12, at 5:00 pm in the downstairs Eaton Meeting Room.

Free official sample SAT and ACT tests, as well as a free diagnostic report, will be available per request.

This short, free seminar will help parents learn about:

  • what changes to expect
  • how the the new version compares to the ACT test
  • which test kids should take (plus, when and how many times).
  • test prep materials, resources and services currently available to students
  • stress management and time optimization techniques
