Smokey has been missing since November 5th. His owner is asking for help, and even offering a reward for his safe return.
He’s a 1 year old grey Siberian with medium length fur.
Of course, pictures are far more helpful than descriptions in these cases! Click thumbnail below to see another one.

Update (11/19/15) 8:23 am: A happy ending. Smokey has been found and returned home safe!
His owner shared in an email last night:
I wanted to let you know that tonight I received a call from someone who had taken Smokey in.
Smokey was well fed and cared for during this time and my daughter was so happy to have him back! …
[Thank you] to this amazing community in which I have the privilege to live, where a neighbor will lend a helping hand or, in my case, unselfishly take in an animal which he described, as obviously domesticated, and make sure to keep him fed at his expense while trying to find his owners
Here are some cute pics of reunited cat and owner
Can you let me know what part of Southboro Smokey lives? I’m often out running and noticed a grey medium haired cat recently in my neighborhood. I will be looking and praying for his return.
Hi! My cat is not fixed and I was told they can travel for miles. He’s friendly. Where do you run? If you spot him and can grab him please call my cell 5087687420. Thank you!
I run over by the Finn school on the other side of Southboro. I saw the kitty on Bryden Road. If I see any kitty that resembles yours I will definitely call you.
I am hoping for Smokey’s safe return, it is so hard to lose an animal. You didn’t however, mention where in Southborough he was lost from. Although Southborough is small, it is better to know the general area, could you please share. I will be looking for him and hoping he is back in your arms soon!
We were looking at PetSmart the other day at Northborough Crossings and I saw a cat there that looked very similar to this in the adoption area. It’s worth a shot . . . good luck!
Thank you! I called and the cat they have with a similar description is said to be a kitten I will stop by today. The adoption leader is not in until Friday. Wondering when did you see the cat? Hopefully it’s not mine and adopted already.
We went last Wednesday. (11/2). The cat we saw was definitely not a kitten; it looked full-grown.
I got a flyer in my mailbox. I’ve had my eye open for the little guy but no luck so far. This is in the East Main Street/Overlook drive Area, btw. Good luck.
Good news. The cat has been returned home to owner’s loving arms. I’ve updated the post with more information.
