The Friends of the Southborough Library will host a Christmas Sale on Saturday, December 5 downstairs at the library. Pick up some great gifts for the book-lovers on your list (including yourself).
- Canvas Friends of the Southborough Library bags. Fill with books at a discounted rate.
- Gently used books at bargain basement prices featuring a wide selection of hardcover and paperback fiction and non-fiction books for adults, teens and children. (Already own a Friends of the Library bag? Bring it with you for the “stuff a bag deal”.)
- Kids’ gift bags filled with fun reading and writing materials
- One free book per child
The sale coincides with other fun holiday events scheduled for the library and downtown Southborough that day. It will run from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm at the library.
Other reasons to stop by the library that day:
- The Children’s room will be hosting its annual Tree Trimming party, 10:30-12. Kids can make their own ornaments, then bring them upstairs to hang on the library’s tree. The free event includes refreshments for the kiddies. (Trust me, you won’t miss Santa landing across the street at noon. If you aren’t watching the clock, the crowd of families rushing out for a good spot on the field will tip you off!)
- Upstairs from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm is the annual Holiday Open House sponsored by the Friends of the Southborough Library. Adults can enjoy refreshments while listening to holiday music.
