An officer is investigating a Hit & Run that took place Monday afternoon on Breakneck Hill Road.
Police also investigated multiple accidents on New Years Eve day, including a flipped car on Main Street. The crash resulted in injuries, plus a downed utility wire that kept the road closed for hours. (You can read more on that story in Southborough Wicked Local.)

Thursday, December 24, 2015:
- 0808 hrs – A town resident was issued a No Trespass Notice from a Newton Street business.
- 1102 hrs – Officers conducted a requested well-being check on a Highland Street resident.
- 1320 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Lynbrook Road residence.
- 1332 hrs – Officers were dispatched to an erratic operator call on Marlboro Road, but were subsequently called off by Marlborough Police after they (MPD) were able to stop the vehicle.
- 1431 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Northboro Road business.
- 2100 hrs – An officer responded with the Fire Department to investigate a fire alarm activation at a Witherbee Lane residence.
- 2230 hrs – A medical was reported at a Ted Lane residence.
Friday, December 25, 2015:
- 1752 hrs – Officers responded to Turnpike Road to investigate a report of an erratic operator in the area. The responding officers reported back negative contact.
Saturday, December 26, 2015:
- 0056 hrs – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
- 0913 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at the Margaret Neary School on Parkerville Road.
- 0935 hrs – Officers investigated a report of suspicious activity/ possible larceny from a residence on Latisquama Road. An item was reported missing from the front stairs of the residence.
- 1023 hrs – An officer investigated a report of suspicious activity on Meeting House Lane.
- 1138 hrs – Solicitors came in to register at the police station.
- 1627 hrs – An officer responded to a Turnpike Road business to investigate a report of suspicious behavior outside the business. The responding officer reported back that everything checked out ok.
- 1854 hrs – An officer responded with the Fire Department to investigate a fire alarm activation at a Red Gate Lane residence.
- 2107 hrs – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
- 2220 hrs – Marlborough Police requested Southborough Police check the Marlboro Road area for an erratic operator in the area. The responding Southborough units checked the area and advised dispatch of negative contact with the vehicle.
- 2243 hrs – Westborough Police requested Southborough Police check the Turnpike Road area for a possible intoxicated driver heading into Southborough from Westborough. The responding Southborough units checked the area and advised dispatch of negative contact with the vehicle.
Sunday, December 27, 2015:
- 0001 hrs – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
- 0038 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.
- 0751 hrs – A medical was reported at a North Street residence.
- 1755 hrs – Officers investigated a report of suspicious activity on Turnpike Road. The responding officers reported back that everything checked out ok.
- 2104 hrs – A medical was reported at a North Street residence.
- 2138 hrs – Officers investigated a report of suspicious activity in front of a Nipmuc Lane residence. The responding officers checked the area and advised that everything checked out ok.
Monday, December 28, 2015:
- 0625 hrs – A medical was reported at a Madison Place residence.
- 0754 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Northboro Road business.
- 0814 hrs – Officers conducted a requested well-being check on a Marlboro Road resident.
- 0818 hrs – An officer responded to Main Street at the Westborough town line to investigate a report of a tree limb down and blocking the road. The limb was located and the officer was able to remove it from the roadway.
- 0931 hrs – Officers investigated a report of suspicious behavior outside of an Edgewood Road residence.
- 0944 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Fairview Drive residence.
- 1355 hrs – An Ashland resident came into the station to report that someone had struck her car on Breakneck Hill Road, and then fled the scene of the accident. An officer is Investigating the Hit & Run accident.
- 1402 hrs – A medical was reported at a Vale Terrace residence.
- 1606 hrs – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Marlboro Road.
- 1608 hrs – Officers investigated a motor vehicle vs. deer accident on Framingham Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
- 1755 hrs – Officers investigated a parking complaint on Clifford Road.
- 1810 hrs – An officer investigated a report of suspicious activity on Sears Road. The responding officer reported back negative findings.
- 2022 hrs – An officer investigated a motor vehicle vs. deer accident on Framingham Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
Tuesday, December 29, 2015:
- 0235 hrs – The DPW was called out to treat the roadways.
- 0610 hrs – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
- 0847 hrs – An officer responded to Turnpike Road to investigate a report of a vehicle striking the Jersey barrier and leaving the scene. The responding officer confirmed that the vehicle had left the area.
- 0919 hrs – An officer investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident on Southville Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
- 1117 hrs – A medical was reported at a Madison Place residence.
- 1154 hrs – An officer investigated a traffic complaint on Cordaville Road.
- 1239 hrs – Officers responded to Turnpike Road to investigate a report of an erratic operator in the area. The responding officer reported back negative contact.
- 1500 hrs – Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Boston Road. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
- 1518 hrs – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Boston Road.
Wednesday, December 30, 2015:
- 0824 hrs – Officers responded to Boston Road to investigate a report of an erratic operator in the area. The responding officers reported back negative contact.
- 1301 hrs – Officers responded to a North Street residence to investigate a report of a possible disturbance. The responding officer reported back that everything checked out ok.
- 1304 hrs – A Turnpike Road business reported a motorist operating erratically (“doing donuts”) in the business’ parking lot. The responding officer reported back that the vehicle had left the area prior to their arrival.
- 1541 hrs – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
- 1619 hrs – Westborough Police requested Southborough Police check the Turnpike Road area for a motor vehicle that was reported to have ice coming off its roof.
- 1839 hrs – Officers investigated a report of a disturbance at a North Street residence. The responding officers reported back that everything checked out ok.
- 1851 hrs – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on River Street.
Thursday, December 31, 2015:
- 0156 hrs – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Metcalf Lane.
- 0626 hrs – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.
- 0740 hrs – A medical was reported at a North Street residence.
- 0849 hrs – An officer investigated a traffic complaint on Pine Hill Road.
- 0942 hrs – An officer investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident on Main Street. No injuries were reported at the scene of the accident.
- 1047 hrs – Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident on Main Street. Injuries were reported at the scene of the accident after the operator struck a utility pole.
- 1224 hrs – Officers investigated a one car, motor vehicle accident on David Henry Gardner Lane. No injuries were reported at the scene, but there was damage done to personal property (fence).
- 1928 hrs – Officers investigated a report of an erratic operator in the area of Southville Road. The responding units reported back negative contact.
