Chestnut Hill Farm is celebrating winter this Saturday with a special event – “Night by Light Winter Fun on the Farm”.
They had hoped to hold a night sledding & snowshoeing event, but Mother Nature had other plans. That’s OK. I think most of us are fine to hold off on being blanketed in snow again. And The Trustees of Reservations came up with other fun activities to make up for it.
The event is free for TTOR* members. For non-members, it’s $5 per person.
From 5:00 – 7:00 attendees can enjoy:
- Roasting marshmallows around a campfire – and yes, of course, making s’mores
- Flying LED helicopters
- Crafting paper lanterns with LED lights
- Exploring the winter night on a guided hike
- Hot chocolate and cider
To join in the fun, park in the CSA parking area and walk over to the CSA barn (they will light the way).
*Remember, if you joined the farm’s CSA, you had to become a TTOR member first. So that includes you.
