  • Community Awareness Panel – Opioid Crisis (6:00 – 8:00 pm) @ Algonquin Regional High School, 79 Bartlett St, Northborough: “Opioid Use and Abuse: Addressing the Crisis is sponsored by the Worcester County DA’s office and our state legislators. A panel discussion with Q&A will address the issue. Panelists represent experts on treatment, prevention, public health, and public policy. For more details, see dedicated post.
  • Auditions for Southborough Rotary Club Talent Show (6:30 – 9:30 pm) @ Trottier Middle School, Auditorium: They are looking for performers in Grades 5 and up to audition for the 16th Annual Southborough Rotary Club Talent Show held on Friday, March 11th, 2016. Auditions should be scheduled by contacting Ms. Bartolomei (rbartolomei@nsboro.k12.ma.us) or Ms. Nelson (mnelson@nsboro.k12.ma.us) at Trottier Middle School.

  • Boroughs+ Economic Development Summit (7:00 – 9:30 am) @ Doubletree Hotel, 5400 Computer Drive, Westborough: Topic: Promoting Regional Collaboration on the “Last Mile” Connection. For more details, see dedicated post.
  • Snowshoeing/Winter Hike (10:00 am) @ Hopkinton State Park: Active seniors are invited to take part in snowshoeing or a winter hike. The event is organized by the Senior Center’s Trailblazers, but you don’t have to be a member to join them. For more details, see dedicated post.

  • Exciting Women’s Circle (10:00) @ Southborough Senior Center: Senior Center’s social circle for ladies. New members are always welcome. Join them for fun and word games. For more information, call the Senior Center at 508-229-4453
  • Cooking with Quinoa (11:30 am – 12:30 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: Free cooking demonstration in the center’s new kitchen. Karen White, a registered dietitian, will teach how to eat better. The focus is on quinoa – for breakfast. Come see how easy it is to make, learn about the health benefits and try hot quino with healthy toppings.   • Wick Choral Festival (7:00 – 9:00 pm) @ St. Mark’s School, Class of ’45 Hall, Putnam Family Arts Center: The Wick Festival is an annual celebration of music that features the talents of local high school a cappella ensembles.
