St. Mark’s Church is again offering a Kids’ Night Out. Fun includes games, skits, optional crafts, pizza and snacks, plus a viewing of Despicable Me.
The event comes two nights before Valentine’s Day. And organizers point out that it’s also the start of February school break in Southborough public shools. So, you might want that kid-free night to brace yourself for it!
As usual the event is run by the youth group, with adult supervision. Funds raised help the youth group with their mission work.
Here are the details:
KIDS’ NIGHT OUT (FEB 12) AT SAINT MARK’S EPISCOPAL CHURCH
Start off the February vacation with us at Kids’ Night out! Parents can have the evening off and maybe sneak in a date night or pack for their school break trip.
Kids age 3-grade 5 are welcome. Childcare will be provided by MS and HS students in the youth group and also by CORI checked adults/parents.
Events will be well-supervised but will also allow kids to have some choices and to be very active and engaged.
We will offer games, a pizza dinner, skits, optional crafts, snacks, and the “Despicable Me” movie. Come enjoy those crazy minions and hang out with your friend.
The program runs from 5 pm until 8:30 pm. Late arrival due to work obligations (traffic, etc) is okay and not a problem.
This event is a fundraiser to support the youth mission trip to Harrisburg, PA in July. Please help our teens learn to serve and reach out to others.
Cost is $30 for one child, $55 for two kids, $70 for three children, and $80 for four children. (The more the merrier!)
Permission slips will be provided to those who register in advance and will be given out at the door as well.
Call the church at 508-481-1917 to register or email Melissa at tobeslabelle@mac.com. Advance registration is highly recommended but walk- ins will be welcome.
