The Southborough Senior Center is in the midst of a free 8-part series to teach Nutrition for Life.
Thanks to a grant from the Southborough Community fund, Nutritionist Karen White is demonstrating healthy recipes to senior residents.
This week, the center’s new kitchen had a full house for a demonstration on quinoa as a breakfast food.
Next up, is Cooking a Healthy Soup. That takes place February 3rd at 10:00 am:
The soup will be low sodium and heart healthy! As we make the recipe we will also look at reading a food label and how to flavor our soup with spices instead of salt! The surprise soup is pumpkin and Black Bean! You will be amazed and how tasty this soup is!
Registration is limited to 20 attendees, so sign up soon. Call 508-229-4453.
