This week, the Southborough Library hosts a talk by author Kathleen Laplante.
The author will discuss the aftermath of her father’s suicide and her attempt to make sense of it.
Laplante’s father took his life on her 21st birthday. The author shares her experience in Unraveling My Father’s Suicide. From the book jacket:
In this captivating and hope-filled story, she intimately discusses her struggles and eventual acceptance of his death. She also discusses her own attempt at suicide and reveals how her spiritual conversion back to Catholicism helped her find faith and hope.
The author talk is free and open to the public. It takes place this Thursday, February 11, at 7:00 pm upstairs.
