Southborough Kindergroup’s Easter Egg Hunt has become a fun community tradition.
The lawn teems with children rushing around the lawn scooping up plastic eggs and looking for the “golden egg” prizes.
Babies toddle along, pick up an egg and plop down to inspect their plunder.
What changes year-to-year is the registration information.
This year, to join the hunt families are asked to pay $3/child or $5/family. Payment will be “at the door”, so no pre-registration is necessary.
(You are also encouraged to show up with an item for the Food Pantry.)
The fun is set again for the day before Easter – Saturday, March 26.
Festivities will begin at 10:30 am with the chance to take pictures with the Easter Bunny. (Bring your own camera.)
The “hunt” (really more of a plunder) begins at 11:00 am. (Bring your own basket to collect kids’ bounty.)
The event is annually held on the Community House lawn. But again this year, there is a back up plan for rain (or excessive mud).
If necessary, Fay School will offer up Harlow Gym. (I’ll keep you posted on that closer to the date!)
