- SEF Spelling Bee (6:00 pm) @ Trottier Middle School: The bee is held by Southborough Education Foundation as an annual fundraiser. Doors open at 6:00 pm for the raffle and silent auction. The actual bee begins at 7:00 pm with the end time depending on how long the spellers last. Teams from schools participate. For more details, see the dedicated post.

- Southborough’s Democratic caucus (10:30 am) @ Southborough Library: Registered Democrats in Southborough will be holding a caucus to elect five delegates and three alternates to the 2016 Massachusetts Democratic Convention. For more details, see the dedicated post.
- Saturday Art Workshops for Children (10:30 am – 12:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, Eaton Meeting Room: Children ages 5-10 and siblings are invited to drop in to create some art. The workshop is led by Southborough’s Lanting Huang-Truong. This month, kids will learn to make cards with pop-up flowers. Registration is not required

- Troop 1’s Pancake Breakfast (8:00 am – 1:00 pm) @ Neary School cafeteria: Boy Scouts will be serving up pancakes, sausages, ham and beverages for $6/adult, $3/seniors/kids 6-12, and free for children 5 and under. Proceeds from the event support Troop 1 activities like camping, hiking, and community service projects.
- Girl Scout Sunday service (3:00 pm) @ Pilgrim Church: 1st annual Girl Scout Sunday service. The ecumenical service welcomes all faiths and is being held in memory of Elma Kunz, who passed away in August. She was an 86-year Girl Scout.
- St. Mark’s Winter Concert (6:30 pm) @ St. Mark’s School, Putnam Family Arts Center, Class of ’45 Hall: St. Mark’s School Orchestra will perform a free concert for the public.
