Kathleen Joann Maguire, 86, a life long resident of Southborough, died on Thursday, March 2, 2016 at Marlborough Hills Healthcare Center after a period of declining health.
Born in Marlborough, she was the daughter of Mary (Sheenan) and John Maguire.
Joann was a graduate of the former Peter’s High School in Southborough and worked for the former Anderson Furniture Store and Concannon’s Stationary Shop on Marlborough Main Street for many years. She was a very fashionable lady and dressed with many accessories daily, along with her carefully placed makeup.
She is survived by 2 nephews, Michael Maguire and his wife Linda of Southborough; Brian Maguire of Framingham; 2 nieces, Katie Bellemere and her husband Guy of Worcester; Maureen Nichols and her husband Brian of Spencer; 9 great nieces and nephews and 2 great great nieces.
A mass of resurrection will be held on Friday, March 11, at 10 AM at St Anne Church, 20 Boston Road, Southborough, followed by a burial in Southborough Rural Cemetery.
