I just learned about new camp options for Southborough (and other area) kids. Our district’s vocational/technical school is holding special summer programs.
Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School is holding Drama Workshops with options for Grade 1 through College. The program is in partnership with River’s Edge Arts Alliance.
The school is also working with the Central Mass Fundamentals Basketball Camp for grades 4 – 10. Sessions take place July 11-14, July 18-21, and July 25-28.
For grades 7-9 AVRT is also offering its own Career Discovery Camp. The program is only for the week of July 7-11. But campers can choose a half day session, or cover two topics through both the morning and afternoon sessions. Career choices are: Babysitting, Robotics, and Multimedia Communications.
If you wish your younger kids could explore careers, you should check out Framingham’s voc program. Keefe Tech is also offering career discovery. They have full day camp options for 2nd-8th grade. And with a pool on campus, they even offer daily swim time.
