Registration deadlines had passed for three camps coming up next week. But Southborough Rec just extended them through Thursday, July 14th.
So hurry up and sign kids up for the following fun, July 18-22:
Bubble Soccer (grades 4-8) 9:00 am – noon @ Choate field 3 (in front of Woodward Memorial School)
Kids will learn a fun way to play the game of Soccer! Watch as you bounce off your friends, roll on the ground and flip as you try and score a goal. It is action packed, exciting and safe! Camp will also incorpate a variety of sports such as, Flag Football, Wiffle Ball, Ulitmate Frisbee. Participants will receive a tshirt and daily trophies to winning teams. Please apply sunscreen and bring a bottled water.

Making an iPhone or SamSung Android Game (grades 3-6) 9:00 – 11:45 am @ South Union Building:
iPhone users can create games for iPhones and iPads using GameSalad. Funutation shows how to add objects, sound scoring, and award the winner!
Android users can create apps that appear live on your Android phone or tablet. Funutation teaches the basics of computer programming to create a drawing app and a Whac-a-Mole Game. Kids acquire tech skills using our trademarked Funutation TEAMS hands on, inquiry based model. Tekkies work in teams of two to investigate and discuss coding principles in action. A phone is not required to take this camp as the games are developed on a computer.
Minecraft Magic (grades 3-6) 12:15 – 3:00 pm @ South Union Building:
Tekkies create games with 3D Models and battle against powerful enemies. Download and install mods and maps into your gaming masterpiece. Test the strength of your mods with Funutation. Kids acquire tech skills using our trademarked Funutation TEAMS handson, inquiry-based model. Tekkies work solo as they investigate different ways to play Minecraft. Make sure you have a Minecraft account prior to the first day of event. Bring your computer or rent from www.funutation.com for $25 for the entire week of camp.
