Next Thursday, enjoy another outdoor summer concert at Southborough’s outdoor stage. The Love Dogs will perform blues and jazz for the community on Thursday, July 21st.
The fun is scheduled for 6:00 – 8:00 pm that night. This is the one concert this summer without a rain date. (So, let’s keep fingers crossed that weather isn’t an issue.)
As always, the Summer Concert Series concessions will support Send a Kid to Camp. This time, sponsor Southborough House of Pizza is donating the pizza for sale.
Of course the night’s highlight is the music. So what can you expect?
Next week’s act describes itself as a 7 piece band playing original Swingin’ Rockin’ Jump Blues and New Orleans R&B.
The group’s Facebook page shared these critical raves:
The New York Post says “Even though the music could make Leonardo’s David dance, it’s the songwriting that separates these dogs from the rest of the pack” and Blues Review agrees “If there were a Superbowl for crowd pleasing rhythm & blues, a photo of The Love Dogs would be on every Wheaties box in America.”
